Using Our Inabilities to Thrive - Faith Over Flaws!

This week we are going to discuss someone who was a great man in biblical history although, he had some character flaws. His flaws were pronounced by fear of his own destruction however, his flaws did not stop his Faith! We must know that all humans have flaws of some type, but we must not allow them to distract us and keep us from believing what God has said to us and about us. Speaking Positive about Yourself

Often times life brings so many issues our way and if we are not careful, we will allow those issues to control us so much that we began to speak ill against ourselves. We must understand that no matter what we have done, we are still God's creation and We must not allow anyone or anything to change the way we think or speak about ourselves. If you are one who has allowed your circumstances to cause you to speak against yourself, then I pray that this episode will reinstate the truth back into you that You are who God says you are and you can do what he has called you to do.

Hello Thrivers! God is so good! Have you ever looked at yourself and said that you don't measure up? You have too many issues, problems, flaws or inabilities therefore, God cannot use you? Well, let's go through this series to look at some people in the Bible who did not have just one but many "flaws", yet God sent them anyway to do his well. Well, what is the difference in their flaws and ours? We must learn to lay the excuses down and do what God has called us to do. Remember, to Thrive is to grow vigorously, far beyond survival and to help others thrive as well!! So come on Thrivers and let's get a fresh fire to do what God has called us to do in spite of the flaws.

Hello Thrivers, I'm Back! It has been a minute but I am glad to be back and ready to finish the year strong! Since I last aired there has been so many things that has happened but they are all good! Listen and you will get the news LOL. This week we are going back to Numbers 13, when God told Moses to send the twelve spies into the land of Canaan. I want you to know that when God sends you somewhere on an assignment or tells you to do anything, There will be Fruit! In other words, the evidence will be noticeable that He sent you or told you to do what you are doing! Listen in and there are more great podcasts to come. Be Of Good Courage

When God has told you or given you a specific assignment, He has already given you the blessing to achieve it so go in and possess what he has told you to do. Will you face opposition? More than likely you will face opposition but Be of Good Courage! The children of Israel even faced Giants in the land that God had promised them. By the way, the land that God promised the children of Israel was already occupied by the descendants of Anak who were Giants! Do you think God knew that? Why of course he did but that did not stop his plan for them to possess the land he had given them. So no matter what, Be of Good Courage and Possess the Land. The Grasshopper Mentality Part 2- See yourself as God sees You

Hello Thrivers, we praise God for a new week on the Discipleship Matters Podcast show! Discipleship Matters is already a global podcast show to the glory of God and we want to go even further. And we want to reach everyone that Jesus has entrusted into our hands. How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself less than what God has said you are? Do you allow situations, circumstances or people to belittle you and make you afraid? Do you see yourself so small that you won't even share Jesus with them because you don't feel like you can? I used to allow my circumstances to dictate my joy, peace or even my life. Sometimes my whole day was destroyed because I did not realize that I was the one in control and I was Not a GRASSHOPPER but God's Word called Me "More than a Conqueror"!!! And that goes for you too! Faith in the God that is in Me

Not Guilty! I have been Justified

Welcome back Thrivers! I hope that you had a great Resurrection Sunday and this week is going well. Let's talk about being "Not Guilty". To be Justified is to be declared Righteous by God! It doesn't matter what anyone may say, I have been justified in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we should not live a sin conscious life because even to hold onto sin means that God's grace and Jesus' sacrifice of death was not enough! And we know that Everything that Jesus did was Enough! So I pray that this episode blesses you and we will be back on Monday night's schedule for next week.
