When God has told you or given you a specific assignment, He has already given you the blessing to achieve it so go in and possess what he has told you to do. Will you face opposition? More than likely you will face opposition but Be of Good Courage! The children of Israel even faced Giants in the land that God had promised them. By the way, the land that God promised the children of Israel was already occupied by the descendants of Anak who were Giants! Do you think God knew that? Why of course he did but that did not stop his plan for them to possess the land he had given them. So no matter what, Be of Good Courage and Possess the Land.
