Blessings Thrivers! We are back for another episode of Discipleship Matters. This week we are going to be talking about how persecution can be such a horrible thing but it is actually a part of the disciples' journey. We find that in Daniel, chapter 6 that Daniel is targeted for persecution but he is prepared for it. Daniel exhibited an Excellent Spirit that was faithful, bold and led King Darius to the almighty God. Then King Darius made a new decree that the whole kingdom must serve Daniel's God. So not only did King Darius become a believer, but the whole kingdom where he ruled worshipped the almighty God. Although persecution is tough, it can open up a door for someone to learn and follow Jesus Christ. Go through persecution and watch God deliver and rescue you just as he did with Daniel.
